Bob Ayres, DMin
Dr. Robert Elliot Ayres, co-founder of Deaf Teen Quest, Youth For Christ USA, is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of North America. Following seminary, his career included teaching, community organization, and non-profit leadership. He is the founder of a consulting group for leadership development and coaching, REA LEADERSHIP RESOURCES. Dr. Ayres earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Beeson Divinity School, Samford University (Birmingham, AL), Master of Education, Brenau University (Gainesville, GA), Master of Religious Education, Southern Seminary (Louisville, KY), and Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education, University of Florida (Gainesville, FL).
Currently, Fr. Dr. Ayres serves as a leadership development consultant for churches and non-profits, is the Pastor of Formation at Servants of Christ Anglican Church in Gainesville, FL, and the founding pastor of DEAFCHURCH Together - an online liturgical expression of the Christian faith. Dr. Ayres has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Florida. His career has included founding Deaf Teen Quest (Youth For Christ USA), directing the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky, Education and Counseling Center, owning/managing a wholesale/retail business, and teaching middle/high school.
Dr. Rickey Allen McClain, Instructor/Bible translator for ASLV with Deaf Missions (Iowa) and Deaf Ministry Consultant, was ordained as a Nazarene pastor in 1987. Following seminary, his career included serving as the VP of Academic Affairs of Deaf Online University, teaching, and pastoring. Dr. McClain earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Beeson Divinity School, Samford University (Birmingham, AL), Master of Arts in Counseling, MidAmerica Nazarene University (Olathe, KS), Master of Religious Education, Nazarene Theological Seminary (Kansas City, MO), and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Gallaudet University (Washington, DC).
